What to expect at my yoga classes

I teach a variety of yoga styles including Hatha, vinyasa, and restorative yoga

 

People have described my yoga classes as friendly and warm, gentle and relaxing, sometimes challenging but always accessible, easy to follow with clear instructions. I think that about sums it up! 

My goal is to create a nourishing experience that offers a retreat from the day-to-day grind. Candlelight, soft music, eye pillow during savasana, and an inspirational reading to close out the class.

Whether you’re an experienced practitioner, coming back after a long break, or a newbie, together we’ll stretch, breathe and build a supportive community. 

As one of my teacher’s says, together we go farther.

Tuesdays from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Candle-lit for a Zen Den vibe, this all-levels yoga class focuses on alignment, building strength, coordinating breath with movement, and releasing tension.

Gentle Slow Flow Yoga - Starts August 17
Soulspace Yoga & Wellness in Plantsville
Wednesdays from 6:00 PM - 7:15 PM
Fee: 
Pre-register $10 or drop-in $15
A gentle slow flow yoga class linking breath with movement.  Focus on alignment and improving flexibility and strength. Perfect for all levels of experience and flexibility.

Introduction to Yoga
4 Week Series Starts September 12

Multisports Academy in Hamden
Monday 9/12, 9/19, 9/26 and 10/3 
from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Fee:  $60 for 4 class series or $20 drop-in

In this introduction to yoga, you’ll learn the foundational yoga poses with a focus on alignment, building strength, and increasing flexibility and balance. Meditation and breathing techniques will also be introduced.
 

Whether you’re new to yoga or interested in refining your current practice, this gentle, all levels class provides a safe, non-competitive environment to explore and experience all the benefits of yoga.
